The early history of Defiance County, OH, and the communities
of Defiance and Hicksville, are recalled through a mixture of colorful tales
and factual data in this this NEW 17 Page Booklet reproduced directly from the 1892 Centennial edition of Henry
Howe's Historical Collections of Ohio and other sources. The spiral-bound
booklet is printed one-sided on 60# paper with the print enlarged for easier
reading.

of several white youths, a monstrous apple tree, the War of 1812, and a
