Early days in Morrow County, OH, including
the communities of Mt. Gilead, Cardington, Centerville, Edison, Sparta,
Marengo and Johnsville, are recalled through a mixture of colorful tales
and factual data in this NEW 18 Page Booklet reprinted from the 1892 Centennial edition of Henry Howe's
Historical Collections of Ohio, The Ohio Guide (a WPA
Writers Project), and other hard-to-find sources. The spiral bound booklet
is printed single-sided on 60# paper, with the FINE print enlarged for easier
reading.

They include a 1886 photograph of County Buildings in Mt. Gilead, an attractive
drawing of an Ohio Buckeye Branch, and a delightful sketch of a Pioneer

history of newspapers in the county, feature news items from the 1960s,
a map showing the 88 Ohio counties and a map of 1805 Ohio are also included.
