-- are recalled through a mixture of colorful tales and factual data in
this NEW 19 Page Booklet reprinted from the 1892 Centennial edition of Henry Howe's
Historical Collections of Ohio, The Ohio Guide and other
sources. The spiral-bound booklet is printed one-sided on 60# paper, with
the print enlarged for easier reading.

square in Greenville, an 1886 view on Broadway in Greenville, and a picturesque

booklet are: Fort Greenville, Gen. William Darke, defeat of St. Clair, exploits
of Mad Anthony Wayne, Indian peace treaties, Enoch Seitz a math wiz, the

Ohio Infantry and medicine in pioneer days.
GENEALOGY BUFFS will find
a list of 1888 county officers and businesses. A 1933 look at the history
of newspapers in the county, excerpts from a WPA writer's project that studied
the state's points of interest in 1940, brief pieces on the Ft. Jefferson
monument, Arthur St. Clair and Lowell Thomas, and maps showing the 88 Ohio
counties and 1805 Ohio are also included.
